He trained at the nation’s #1 rated medical system, the Mayo Clinic, for his residency and specialized in Sports Medicine through a fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City, the top-rated orthopedic institute in the U.S. During his fellowship, he served as a team physician for the New York Giants and New York Mets, gaining invaluable experience in treating athletes at the highest level.

Board-certified in Sports Medicine and Family Medicine, Dr. Dekker focuses on non-surgical treatments to help patients recover from injuries and manage painful conditions.
